A crazy energy erupts around you at nightfall as musicians, death-defying acrobats and snake charmers fill Djemma el Fna square in the heart of Marrakech. Slope away from the mayhem to the souk’s labyrinth full of carpets, lamps and spices piled high in colourful fragrant heaps.

Head for Souss Valley to glimpse the astounding goats climbing high into the Argan trees, or take a 4x4 ride into the Sahara’s mighty dune and watch a vivid sunset. Climb one of Morocco’s four mighty mountain ranges, exploring cedar forests and astounding views of gorges and towering peaks, or unwind with a mint tea and fresh dates in a Bedouin tent under the stars.
