Day 2- Scottsdale  

Enjoy a relaxing day by the pool or exploring the grounds of the hotel. Perhaps take a shopping trip to one of Scottsdale’s fabulous malls. This evening, join Tauck for a welcome reception and dinner.

Day 3- Montezuma Castle & Sedona

Visit Montezuma Castle National Monument to see the deserted cliff dwellings of one of the oldest known civilisations. On to Sedona, surrounded by towering red rock formations. Wind through magnificent Oak Creek Canyon, then itson to the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon both inspires and captures the imagination. The morning is free for you to explore the canyon rim and village. Later, tour the East Rim. See Moran Point and Desert View Lookout. Travel through the Navajo Indian Reservation en route to Page, Arizona, where your hotel overlooks the canyons of Lake Powell.

Day 5- Lake Powell

Glen Canyon Dam transformed the Colorado River into a massive lake 186 miles long fringed by fjord-like canyons that are accessible only by boat. For sheer spectacle there is no lake like it on earth! Tower over the unusual rock formations and view Rainbow bridge on a 30 minute flight.

Day 6- Glen Canyon Raft Trip & Bryce Canyon 

Enjoy a morning float trip through Glen Canyon with lunch on the Colorado River, then drive through Kanab, Utah and Red Rock Country en route to Bryce Canyon National Park.

Day 7- Bryce Canyon & Zion National Parks

Take the morning and early afternoon to explore Bryce at your leisure. After lunch you’re off to neighbouring Zion National Park.

Day 8- Zion National Park & Las Vegas

Today is a day of contrasts. Zion is noted for narrow canyons and colourful mesa scenery. Wind deep into the canyon where great red precipices rise on either side, leading into a beautifully carpeted valley. Although a contrast from the rest of the tour, Las Vegas is the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’. See the casinos and drive the length of the Las Vegas ‘Strip’. This evening we invite you to a farewell reception and dinner.

Day 9- Journey Home

Check out time is 12 noon. Since individuals leave at different times, an airport transfer is not included. Your stay in Las Vegas may be extended if desired.
