Every summer the All England Club hosts the world’s oldest and most prestigious grand slam tennis championship, Wimbledon. Roger Federer - considered by many to be the greatest player in the history of the game - will be hoping to equal Pete Sampras’s record seventh Wimbledon title, but is likely to meet familiar opposition in 2009's losing finalist Andy Roddick, British number one Andy Murray, and Rafael Nadal, notably Federer’s conqueror in the epic 2008 final.

The Williams sisters have shared the spoils in eight of the last ten women’s singles tournaments, meeting one another in the final on five of those occasions. There are sure to be many challengers hoping to end their dominance at SW19, not least Belgian duo Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin, who have both returned to the game in 2009.

The ATP World Tour Finals, set to take place at London’s O2 Arena in November, will feature the eight highest-ranking players in the men’s singles game, and the highest-ranking pairs from the men’s doubles game. This is your chance to see the elite compete for the right to be named ATP Tour World Champion, $5m in total prize money, and for the coveted title of world number one.

The competition’s unique round-robin format ensures that each of the qualifying players will play at least three games, and with the best players in the world descending on London, each game is sure to be played to an exceptionally high standard.
